The Reflection is the story pillar of Axis and the emotional foundation of the entire project.

It is not a traditional memoir, a self-help book, or a polished story arranged to make a life look cleaner than it was. It is a record of memory, grief, addiction, sobriety, family, love, shame, honesty, and the slow process of becoming whole enough to look back without turning away.

This is where Axis begins at the human level. Before the body, before the archive, before the spiritual framework, before the larger structure became visible, there was the act of telling the truth. One reflection at a time, the book traces the movement from descent to recovery, from fragmentation to coherence, from hiding to honest witness.

The Reflection can be read as a mirror. It is my story, but it is not meant to keep the reader outside of it. Its purpose is not to ask for admiration or sympathy. Its purpose is recognition. If something in these pages helps you see your own life, your own grief, your own love, your own unfinished becoming more clearly, then the book has done what it was meant to do.

Within Axis, this is the best place to start.
