Art returned during the same era that Axis was being assembled.

This page is not a portfolio, storefront, commission page, or separate public platform. It is a visual record of the personal art made alongside the writing: older work from years before Axis, photo manipulations from the first months of returning to art, and digital illustrations created after learning to work with a drawing tablet.

The pieces included here are part of the same life record. They show another form of recovery, attention, creativity, and becoming. Some were made quickly and instinctively. Others took dozens of hours. Some were experiments. Some became gifts. Together, they preserve the visual side of the same period that produced the books, the archive, the body record, and the public shape of Axis.

This work is included because art became part of the return. It is not here to sell anything or build a separate identity around the images. It is here because image-making came back, and what came back was worth preserving.

Older Work - 2006

Early pieces from years before Axis, included as evidence of the visual language that later returned

Photo Manipulations - Current

Fast, instinct-based mixed-media pieces made from stock, textures, overlays, and original vector elements.

The Seeker

The Seeker follows a lone figure moving through thresholds of reflection, order, ascent, and awakening. Each piece is a visual encounter with mystery, not as escape, but as orientation: a quiet journey toward the center, the doorway, and the light beyond it.

Liminal Faces

Liminal Faces explores identity at the edge of becoming and disappearance. Each portrait captures a face in transition, fragmenting, dissolving, or eroding into atmosphere while something human still looks back through the veil.

Stand Alone Works

Stand Alone Works gathers pieces that exist outside the larger series but still belong to the same symbolic world. Each image stands as its own encounter: a signal, archetype, memory, or threshold that arrived complete enough to need no further sequence.

Digital Illustrations - Current

Hand built tablet work, including Ornamental Animals, Private Weather, and other personal pieces created during the art return.

Ornamental Animals

Ornamental Animals transforms animals into personal icons of beauty, memory, and devotion. Each piece is built as a handcrafted gift, pairing the subject’s natural presence with ornate jewelry, symbolic color, and the quiet dignity of a living heirloom.

Private Weather

Private Weather explores the emotional climates people carry beneath the surface. Each piece captures an intimate state of longing, grief, release, or quiet endurance, not as performance, but as atmosphere made visible.
